Branding and white-label

Logos, colours, portal menu, client dashboard and client-facing words.

admin.youragency.com

ClientOS is white-label from the first screen. Your clients see your name, your logo, your colours and your words, on your own domain, with no mention of ClientOS. This page covers every setting that shapes what clients see: the company record, logos and colours, the sales page, the portal menu, the client dashboard, the words clients read, and your domains.

Where things live#

Branding is applied on the server before a page is sent, so the login screen and every portal page load in your colours with no flash of default styling.

Settings → Company#

Settings → Company holds your name, marks, colours and contact details: everything a client sees before they see your work.

Name and address#

FieldWhere it shows
Company nameThe header, the login screen, invoices, and the sender name on email.
Business addressPrinted under your name on every invoice and credit note, and at the foot of every email. One part per line (street, city and postcode, country). Leave empty to print no address.

Logos#

There are five logo slots, each uploaded and saved the moment you pick a file:

SlotUsed forRecommended file
For light backgroundsThe login screen.Transparent PNG, 480 px wide
For dark backgroundsThe sidebar.Transparent PNG, 480 px wide
Icon for light backgroundsBrowser tabs and the collapsed sidebar.144 × 144 PNG
Icon for dark backgroundsBrowser tabs and the collapsed sidebar.144 × 144 PNG
Mobile app iconThe phone home screen when a client saves the portal.1024 × 1024 PNG

Logo alt text is what your logo says in words. Emails show it in the logo's place while images are blocked, and screen readers read it aloud. Leave it empty to use the company name.

Upload a logo as your first test after connecting storage. If it appears, your storage bucket works end to end. See First run.

Colours#

ColourWhat it controls
PrimaryTints the sidebar, and is the background the "for dark backgrounds" marks are previewed on.
AccentButtons, links and anything you want clicked.

Both apply across the portal, your service pages and your emails. A live preview shows the accent on sample controls.

Locale#

FieldWhat it controls
TimezoneThe calendar every date is shown on, in the admin and the portal, and the clock SLA deadlines are measured against. "Due today" means your today.
CurrencyOne currency per workspace. You can change it only until the first invoice, payment or checkout. After that it's locked, because changing it would restate every price clients have already seen.
Contact linkShown as Contact us at the foot of the portal sidebar. Leave empty for no link.

How clients reach you#

Shown on your service pages beside "Ask about", so a buyer can message you before ordering, and on the client dashboard's Your contact card. Anything left empty isn't shown.

  • A photo, Contact person and Their role.
  • In their words: a line or two under their photo about why a buyer can trust you.
  • Channels: Support email, WhatsApp, Telegram and Book a meeting (Calendly, Cal.com or any https booking link).

Sales page#

Shown on every service page, so a buyer knows who they're paying. Anything left empty isn't shown.

  • Guarantee: one line with a shield, right under the order button.
  • Testimonials: each one either a Video (a Vimeo link and a Title) or a Quote (What they said), with Who and Where from. Click Add a testimonial for more.
  • Policies: named blocks of text, such as a refund policy, each with a Name and Text.

Reviews#

Show your Trustpilot rating on your service pages with a link to your Trustpilot page. Copy the TrustScore and number of Reviews from that page and paste Your Trustpilot page address. Leave all three empty to show nothing.

Export and import company settings#

Use Export and Import at the top of Settings → Company to copy your branding between installs, for example from a test install to your live one.

  1. On the source install, click Export. You get one JSON file with everything on the page (name, colours, timezone, address, contacts, reviews, sales page, logos and the contact photo). Images travel inside the file.
  2. On the target install, click Import, choose the file, and confirm Import company settings?.

Everything on the page is replaced with what the file holds. The currency changes only if nothing has been sold on the target install yet. The page reloads when the import finishes.

Settings → Portal menu#

The portal menu is the sidebar every client sees. You can change how it's organised without moving the pages underneath.

The focus button#

The focus button is the one filled button at the top of the sidebar: what you most want clients to do.

  1. Switch on Show a focus button.
  2. Under Opens, pick New order (opens the store), one of the menu links, or one of your custom links.
  3. Optionally change its Label.

The link it points at leaves the list below, so the sidebar never shows it twice. On phones, it becomes the raised centre tab.

  • Rename any link by typing a new label.
  • Reorder links with the arrows or by dragging, including into other groups.
  • Hide a link with its eye button. Overview, Orders and Settings are marked Required and can't be hidden; rename them instead.
  • Groups: the built-in headings are Your work, Explore and Billing. Rename a heading, reorder groups, add your own group, or remove one (its links move to the top).
  • Add a custom link: give it a label and an address. Use an https://, http:// or mailto: address, or a portal path such as /reports. Portal paths open in the portal; other addresses open in a new tab. You can add up to eight custom links.

A link whose module is off is marked so; turn the module on under Settings → Modules. The Preview shows the sidebar as clients will see it.

Hiding a link tidies the menu but doesn't close the page. To close a page, turn its module off under Settings → Modules. Clients see menu changes the next time a page loads.

Client dashboard#

Settings → Dashboard controls the portal's Overview page.

Cards#

Switch each card on or off and reorder them within their place on the page.

Welcome message#

Text shown above the cards. Good for a support address or a seasonal note; avoid anything that goes stale.

Welcome video#

Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link and an optional Title over the video (empty reads "See how your dashboard works"). The video sits at the head of the page, plays in place when pressed, and loads nothing until then. A client who closes it doesn't see it again until you set a different video.

Ask clients for feedback#

Switch on Show the feedback card to put a small card at the top of every client's dashboard with your Question, five stars and an optional comment. Each person answers once. Answers arrive in your notifications and are listed under What clients said.

Settings → Language#

Settings → Language lets you rename the words clients read in their portal. Type your own word next to any built-in one, or leave the field empty to keep the default. Click reset beside a field to go back to the built-in word.

GroupWhat you can rename
MenuEvery portal menu label, the Your work, Explore and Billing headings, the New order button and the Contact us link.
OverviewThe home page subtitle, card titles and the headline figure labels.
Page headingsThe titles at the top of portal pages such as Orders, Invoices, Support and Files.

For example, rename "Orders" to "Projects" or "Support" to "Help desk".

This is renaming, not translation. The product interface is in English, and Language changes specific client-facing words only. A label set on Portal menu wins over the Language setting for that one link.

Emails#

Every email uses your company name, logo, colours and address automatically. To change what each email says, use Settings → Email templates; to set the sender name and address, use Settings → Emails. See Notifications and email.

Domains#

ClientOS has no in-app custom domain setting, because it runs on your own domain from the start. While installing, you choose two addresses under your domain:

AppExample address
Client portalclients.youragency.com (or youragency.com itself)
Adminteam.youragency.com

Clients only ever see your portal address. Your public service pages, forms and pay links are served there, and so are the API and your files. To change it later, see Moving to another domain.

What the client sees#

  • Your logo and colours on the login screen, every portal page, service pages, forms, invoices and emails.
  • Your contact person and channels on service pages and the dashboard.
  • Your menu, your words and your dashboard cards.
  • Your favicon in their browser tab and your icon on their phone.

Tips#

  • Upload both light and dark logos. The sidebar uses the dark-background version.
  • Keep the accent colour high-contrast. It's used for every button.
  • Point the focus button at New order if you want repeat purchases, or at Support if you mostly deliver retainers.
  • Use Language to match your clients' vocabulary, then use Portal menu for one-off label changes.
